A Concierge's Guide to Planning a Luxury Trip to Bali

Where to stay, how to move and the experiences worth booking ahead, from the team that arranges them every day.

Bali rewards the people who plan a little. The island is bigger and more varied than most first-time visitors expect, and the difference between a good trip and an effortless one usually comes down to a handful of decisions made before you arrive. Here is how we think about it.

Start with where you stay

Your villa sets the tone for everything else. Canggu and Seminyak put you close to the beach clubs, dining and nightlife. Uluwatu trades convenience for drama, with cliff-edge estates and some of the best sunsets on the island. Ubud is quieter and greener, ideal for wellness and a slower pace. Pick the area first, then the home, and let the location shape the rest of the itinerary.

Move like a local, in comfort

Bali traffic is real, and the right transport changes the whole experience. A chauffeured car on call removes the friction from daily plans, while a helicopter turns a long drive into a short flight on the days that matter. For the islands, a private yacht or fast boat opens up Nusa Penida and the Gili Islands without the crowds.

  • A private driver for everyday transfers and day trips
  • A helicopter for airport runs and island hops when time is short
  • A yacht or catamaran for Nusa Penida, snorkelling and sunset cruises

Book the experiences worth planning ahead

The best tables, villas and boats go early, especially in high season and around events. Cliff-top dinners, private chefs, wellness days and celebrations are far easier to arrange with notice. If there is a date that matters, a birthday, a proposal, an anniversary, tell us early and we will build the day around it.

One number for all of it

The quiet luxury of a concierge is having a single point of contact who already knows the island. Instead of juggling drivers, villa managers, boat captains and restaurants, you send one message and it is handled. Share a name, a date and what you have in mind, and the rest takes care of itself.
